Self-catering and catering options

For those that don’t want to self-cater, Twin Lakes can provide a full array of country style cuisine at your request.

Every angler’s dream can be fulfilled at the 2 lakes known as Monty's and Nifty's. The lakes were first stocked in 2002 with wild fingerling Brown and Rainbow Trout. The trout’s average age group is around 5-6 years old, with an average weight of a very healthy 10 pounds. The best Rainbow Trout so far tipped the scales at 20 pounds, and the heaviest Brown just over 16 pounds – the next person to catch a double figure trout could be you!

Along with an abundance of natural food and a strict catch and release policy, Twin Lakes is without doubt Australia’s best privately owned trophy water.

Only 50 minutes from Hobart
